I am sad to announce the closing for Carolina Patchwork Quilts! I have been selling quilts online for over six years, initially to learn how e-commerce works. Completely self-taught in my spare time while I continued my 30 year career in the computer industry, I am completely satisfied with the results of my education.
I did not make a lot of money, and did not put in the time required to make it a "real" business. If I learned anything, I learned maintaining a website requires a lot of time to stay on top. I also learned that managing inventoy was not my cup of tea - much too much tedious details! My love of quilts and learning made the entire experience very enjoyable and satisfying.
I am exhausting my inventory with close-out prices and am willing to negotiate with savvy shoppers. This going-out-of-business sale will not be advertised, so only my loyal customers will enjoy the big savings. Now is the time to get quality quilts for friends and family at affordable prices!
